Vanguard

School has been going very well. There are only about 4 weeks left in the semester, it is going by so quickly! I have been doing well academically and have found ample study time between my excursions to the ocean. The wave have been non stop. The worst day here would still be a good day in myrtle so I am always excited to surf. I have met so many awesome friends here, and have enjoyed it all. I am very happy with my major(inter cultural studies) and have been learning a lot and loving it. It's been really cool tiger to study the bible in school. One of my favorite assignments so far was in my New Testament class. I got to write a paper on the book if Galatians. It was supposed to be written as if it were for a bible study. I really got to dive into the word and dissect it, it was actually fun. I am very excited for my opportunity to go Hawaii for about 10 days in January. I have been training ad working out a lot preparing for the waves over there. For thanksgiving since I will not be going home me and a new friend from Hawaii will be doing a road trip to San Francisco. We plan on surfing a lot, dodging great white sharks, and pretending we are on full house. Thank you all for your support.

California

My new season in California has been great. The road trip out here was epic. I am loving it all I have Been blessed with awesome friend already at vanguard university. I really am loving it here and look forward I what the lord has in store for me while I am here. I have enjoyed my classes and have been learning alot. Thank you for your support and prayers.

Cross country

Me and my dad left myrtle beach last thursday and went to black mountain to spend a few days with the family. Yesterday we left the mountains and stayed the night with friends in Versailles Kentucky. This morning we continued on. Stopped in Indianapolis to see the race track, and we stopped and swam in lake Michigan. We are now on our way to East Moline IL to crash for the night.

At my church there is a my group who has been supporting me in my travels. I got to meet with them tonight for a time of sharing what the lord has done in the last few months. They prayed over me and gave me a bike with a rack for my board that I can use while I live in California. I am so thankful for their support and prayer! Thank you lord for blessing me through "my group".

California.

Things are going great on the west coast, waves are great and I am loving it. I will be out here a until early April.

Pr

Puerto Rico was super good! Waves were chest to over head every day. Surfed a ton and got to have a paddle out to remember Mark McDandel. I am now headed to Huntington beach!

Florida

Today we went to Florence and endured a 9 hour train ride to Florida, where I went to the surf expo and hung out. Puerto Rico tomorrow night! The train had quite an array of people, Amish, latino and us. Fun stuff
