What should I title my first blog

So I was talking to Corrie on skype looking for some guidance on how to use blogspot. Her wise annoying words were figure it out. She said she wanted to be one of my followers so I asked if I could call her Peter.
So far Florida has been pretty awesome. Though it was hard saying good bye and leaving friends and family, it has been quite worth it. One great thing that came with moving away was getting to visit all of my favorite restaurants with my family before I left. I got to go to Habibi's(Great Lebanese food in Myrtle Beach) Grecian Delight, Mr. Fish, and to top it all of a breakfast from Akel's the morning I left with my mom and dad. As I pulled out of the drive way in my studly whip of a vehicle  (95 oldsmobile....dont be jealous) I saw my parents standing teary eyed in the drive way waving good bye. (I tried to hold it together as I pulled out and saved my tears for later down the road.)

The trusty reassuring voice of my gps Sacajawea was proclaiming so confidently "recalculating, recalculating recalculating" and I was on my way to Florida.
So far things in Florida have been exciting and fun! With a daily routine of waking up surfing, doing school, surfing, and doing more school, I cant complain. Compared to the treacherous waters of the great Myrtle Beach, the waves here are tremendously better. Which is good because I can still be stoked on the smallest waves florida has to offer. Besides surfing I have gotten to sharpen my ocean fishing skills (more like begin my skills). Deepsea fishing is very fun, in my two times out so far, I have gotten to swim with sun fish, catch a billion blue fish, get bit by a blue fish, catch some seabass, and catch a pretty big Bonita. (dont worry, I didnt know what a bonita was until a few days ago either.)

Last weekend I had my first couple contests in Florida. It was 2 consecutive contests (one Saturday and one sunday), and I competed in 3 divisions each. On saturday I made it to the Explorer mens final and got 2nd place in the 7 man final. Then on Sunday I made all 3 division finals, finishing with another 2nd Explorer mens, and two 5th places in Open mens, and Explorer Juniors.

Apparently in Florida no one says yall. It is a great word that is very useful in almost every situation. Tate (the yougest of the Hensel family who I am living with) cracks up every time I say it. I got him to say it once showing him how much more educated he can sound with the pure utterance of one beautiful word.

I have several more contests coming up in the months ahead so hopefully I will reach perfection on my Perfection surfboards.

I am going to Covenant Pres. Church here. Its a whole lot different than The Rock but its not bad. I actually wore a collared shirt for the first time in a while to church on Sunday. Fancy, I know. The best part about the church is the discipleship groups. With the youth group, you are put in a discipleship small group with 5 or 6 other guys. Its great to still have the accountability that is needed in life, and to have good friends to talk to.

And if my sister Lottie sees this, I did not replace you!  I love you Mom, Dad, John Michael, Corrie, Laurel, Ian, Charis, and Lottie. More posts to come of my life in Florida soon:)
